Cedar Siding (Cedar Shakes)

Cedar siding has been a staple in siding options for generations.  It has a classic look while still maintaining a rustic charm.  Cedar is versatile to use and can be painted or stained to a variety of color options.  As with any real wood product there is ongoing maintenance.  Heavy sun and rain tend to rob the wood of moisture, so a good quality sealing stain or appropriate paint is critical to extend the life.
